Chandpur: A mobile court has fined three private healthcare institutions over various irregularities in the district. The drive was conducted in Shahrasti Upazila Health Complex gate area from morning to noon today, said Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Nirupam Majumdar.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the mobile court imposed fines on Fatima Lab and Consultation Center, ‘The Khan Diagnostic Center’, and ‘Modern Lab Digital Diagnostic Center’. Fatima Lab and Consultation Center, located adjacent to the hospital gate, was fined Taka 25,000. The Khan Diagnostic Center faced a penalty of Tk 15,000, while Modern Lab Digital Diagnostic Center was fined Tk 5,000. The fines were levied due to various irregularities, including a lack of certificates for technicians working in the diagnostic centers and failure to update licenses.
