Dhaka: In a nationwide crackdown to maintain law and order, 1626 more crime suspects were arrested in the last 24 hours, said a press release issued by the Police Headquarters this morning. Of the arrestees, 990 were apprehended in connection with previous cases and outstanding warrants, while 636 individuals were detained on different criminal charges.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, with the latest arrests, a total of 18,563 alleged miscreants have been arrested in the last 14 days since the nationwide drive to capture miscreants started afresh. The operation aims to address the growing concerns over criminal activities and ensure public safety across the country.
