Dhaka: Bangladesh Accreditation Board (BAB) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bangladesh Trade Facilitation (BTF) to enhance the quality of Bangladesh’s agricultural products and expand their market reach. The collaboration is supported by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the MoU signing ceremony took place at the Industries Ministry in the city, with Industries Secretary Md Obaidur Rahman attending as the chief guest. BTF Project Director Michael J Parr was present as the special guest during the event.
The ceremony was presided over by BAB Director General Md Anwarul Alam. The MoU was signed by the BTF project director and the BAB director general on behalf of their respective organizations.
