Cardinal Prefect of Holy Roman Church Meets Bangladesh Chief Adviser

Vatican City: Silvano Maria Tomasi, Cardinal of the Holy Roman Church, has recently met with Bangladesh Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus at his hotel. The meeting was part of a series of high-profile engagements for the Chief Adviser during his visit to Vatican City.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Cardinal Prefect of the Dicastery for Interreligious Dialogue George Jacob Koovakad also visited Professor Yunus at his hotel on Saturday. This meeting highlighted the ongoing dialogues between the Holy Roman Church and Bangladesh on interreligious matters.

Additionally, Uruguay Foreign Minister Mario Lubetkin met with Professor Yunus at his hotel. This meeting underscores Bangladesh's active engagement with international leaders during significant global events.

The Bangladesh Chief Adviser attended the funeral mass of Pope Francis at St. Peter's Square in Vatican City on Saturday. The event was a gathering of world leaders, providing a platform for Professor Yunus to exchange greetings with prominent figures, including UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, and EU President Ursula von der Leyen, among others.
