Jahangirnagar University: A three-day training workshop titled "Teacher's Induction Program on Tools for Quality Improvement" began today at Jahangirnagar University (JU), aiming to enhance teaching quality and institutional efficiency. The workshop, organized by the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), commenced around 11:00 am on the university campus.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, JU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Mohammad Kamrul Ahsan inaugurated the event as the chief guest, emphasizing the importance of training in developing both academic and administrative skills. He stated, "As teachers, we must constantly improve in research and pedagogy. Understanding university rules and ethics is equally essential for both faculty and administrators. This workshop will offer valuable insights into these areas."
The event also saw the presence of Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education) Professor Dr M Mahfuzur Rahman, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) Professor Dr Sohel Ahmed, and Treasurer Professor Dr M Abdur Rab, who attended the session as special guests. The inaugural session was presided over by IQAC Director Professor Dr Md Sohel Rana and moderated by Professor Dr Mohammad Nayeem Aziz Ansari.
