Lakshmipur: A man died from electrocution at Hazirhayt village in Sadar upazila here today. The deceased, Kawsar Ahmed, 35, was son of Omar Farooq, a resident of Goja-Kadira area of the upazila.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Kawsar came in contact with a live electric wire while starting a sawmill machine around 10:30am, said Sadar upazila police station officer-in-charge M Abdul Monnaf. Kawsar died on the way to Sadar hospital, he said.
