LPG Price Remains Unchanged for April

Dhaka: The price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) will remain unchanged for the current month, April, according to Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) announcement today.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the price of a 12 kg LPG cylinder will be sold at Taka 1,450 at the retailer level. The new price will be effective from today (Sunday), and all licenses of LPG marketing companies will implement the price.



The announcement also detailed the re-fixed auto gas price at Taka 66.41 per litre, while the per kilogram price of LPG is set at Taka 120.80 at the retailer level, inclusive of VAT owned by the private sector.



The BERC decision has also fixed the price of 5.5 kg LPG at Tk. 664, 12.5 kg LPG at Tk. 1510, 15 kg at Tk. 1,812, 16 kg at Tk. 1,933, 18 kg at Tk. 2,174, 20 kg at Tk. 2,416, 22 kg at Tk. 2,658, 25 kg at Tk. 3,020, 30 kg at Tk. 3,624, 33 kg at Tk. 3,986, 35 kg at Tk. 4,228, and 45 kg at Tk. 5,436.



Saudi Aramco kept the April’s official selling prices for propane and butane unchanged from the previous month. The prices are set at $615 per tonne for propane and $605 per tonne for butane.
