Cox's Bazar: A two-day Tourism and Film Festival 2025 will be held on April 18-19 at the Ustad Jahangir Resort Auditorium in Cox's Bazar.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Global Aviation and Tourism Journalists Association and Film Star Club are organizing the festival, as stated in a press release. The festival will feature discussions on the development and growth of Bangladesh's tourism industry, film screenings, award ceremonies, and poster exhibitions of Bengali films.
Additionally, several films, including Bengali movies, will be screened at the event. On this occasion, renowned journalist Abdur Rahman and late renowned filmmaker and journalist Fazlul Haque will be honored for their contributions to film journalism.
To ensure the festival's success, a festival celebration committee has been formed. Film actor Ustad Jahangir Alam will serve as the chairman, with Belayet Hossain Bablu as co-chairman and journalist Hafiz Rahman as member secretary.
