Adviser Sharmeen Meets Martyr Anas’s Family on Eid

Gendaria: Adviser to the Ministries of Social Welfare, and Women and Children Affairs Sharmeen S Murshid met and exchanged Eid greetings with the parents of Shaheed Shahriar Khan Anas, a 16-year-old boy who was shot dead during the student-led July-August uprising, at his house in Gendaria in the city on Wednesday.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, during the visit, Sharmeen S Murshid inquired about the family’s well-being. Consoling Anas’s parents, she mentioned that the government has extended support to those who were martyred and injured during the uprising.



Sharmeen assured the family that the government would honor the martyrs like freedom fighters, and arrangements would be made to pave their graves. Anas’s parents expressed gratitude to the interim government for providing assistance and support to their family.
