Teknaf: A team of the joint forces seized Taka 30 lakh cash, gold ornaments, and local weapons from the house of a local robber in the Alikhali area under Hnila Union of Teknaf Sadar Upazila last night.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the operation was led by the Bangladesh Navy and Bangladesh Coast Guard (BCG) and was conducted based on secret information. This was stated in a release by the Directorate of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) this afternoon.
During the search of the house, the forces discovered Taka 30 lakh in cash, five locally made firearms, six rounds of bullets, five local sharp weapons, gold ornaments, multiple checkbooks, and 20 SIM cards. These items were subsequently handed over to the police station, and the cash and gold were submitted to the Teknaf Customs Office.
