Tangail: BNP Publicity Secretary Sultan Salahuddin Tuku has emphasized that the interim government cannot be allowed to fail. He pointed out the significance of the government’s formation through the student movement and stressed that any failure would undermine the sacrifices made by martyrs.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Tuku remarked that democracy, which martyrs fought for, must be realized through a proper electoral process. He made these remarks during a Meet the Press event organized for the ‘Bindubasini Football Championship’ at the Tangail Press Club.
Addressing the demand for the establishment of voting rights, Tuku expressed optimism that the interim government would conduct elections in a timely manner. He articulated the collective hope for fair elections that would enable citizens to exercise their voting rights effectively.
