CA, Modi, Other Leaders Join Official Dinner of BIMSTEC Summit

Bangkok: Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus joined the official dinner of the BIMSTEC Summit at a hotel in Bangkok, Thailand, this evening. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other leaders from BIMSTEC member states were also present at the dinner, which was hosted by Thailand’s Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Thai prime minister extended a warm welcome to the BIMSTEC leaders and engaged in cordial exchanges with them at the Grand Ballroom of the Shangri-La Hotel. The evening included brief remarks from Prime Minister Shinawatra, followed by a toast in honor of the attending dignitaries.



During the event, Chief Adviser Prof Yunus had the opportunity to pose for photographs with Thai Premier Paetongtarn Shinawatra, marking a moment of camaraderie and cooperation among the leaders. Prof Yunus arrived in Bangkok on Thursday to participate in the 6th Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) Summit.
