Dhaka: Bangladesh Navy has adorned 10 Junior Commissioned Officers of the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer (MCPO) with honorary commissions as honorary sub-lieutenants on Independence and National Day.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the honorary commissioned officers are: Mohammad Salzar Rahman, NPP, MCPO (SW); Md. Mizanur Rahman, MCPO (X) (FC-1); Molla Moshfiqur Rahman, MCPO (S); Md. Anwar Hossain, MCPO (Med) (ICA); Mohammad Helal Uddin, NGP, MCPO (R); Mohammad Tofazzal Hossain, MCPO (X) (PRI); Mohammad Didar Hossain, MCPO (E); Mohammad Shahidur Rahman, MCPO (CAT); Shahjalal Alam, MCPO (Reg); Mohammad Alamgir Hossain, NGP, MCPO (X) (CD-1), said an ISPR release today.
A defence ministry notification said this honorary commission of the Navy will come to an effect from tomorrow.
