Jubo Mohila League Leader and Two Others Remanded in Anti-Terrorism Case

Dhaka: A court today placed three individuals, including Jubo Mohila League central leader Laboni, on a two-day remand each in connection with a case filed under the anti-terrorism act at Mohammadpur Police Station. The other two individuals remanded are Sirajul and Raju.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Jewel Rana issued the remand order after police presented the trio in court, requesting a five-day remand for each. The three were arrested by locals on the evening of March 21, as 25 to 30 leaders and activists of the Awami League conducted an impromptu procession in the Dhanmandi-27 area and subsequently handed them over to the police.
