Pabna: Four people, including a child, were killed and two others injured in a head-on collision between a passenger bus and a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Ishwardi upazila of the district today. The accident occurred in the Baharpur area of Muladuli union around 5 pm when the bus collided with the auto-rickshaw. Three passengers of the auto-rickshaw died at the scene, and three others were injured, stated Shahidul Islam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Ishwardi Police Station.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the identities of the deceased and injured have not been determined immediately. The injured individuals were transported to the upazila health complex, where one more person succumbed to injuries.
