Dhaka: The government has declared April 3, 2025, as a general holiday. This decision aims to facilitate the smooth movement of people during the Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the announcement was made through an executive order. The Chief Adviser’s Deputy Press Secretary, Abul Kalam Azad Majumder, stated that the decision is intended to ensure a smooth journey for holidaymakers. The decision was reached during a meeting of the council of advisers at the Chief Adviser’s Office.
