Dhaka: Bank Women’s Development Cup Hockey will begin Tuesday (March 11) at Maulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium in the capital. Organised by Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF), a total of 11 teams-10 district teams and Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Prothistan (BKSP)-split into two groups will participate in the meet.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the participating teams are divided into Group A and Group B. Group A consists of Dinajpur, Jashore, Chattogram, Patuakhali, and Rajshahi districts. Group B includes BKSP, Jhenaidah, Thakurgaon, Rangpur, Cumilla, and Kishorganj districts. The competition aims to foster growth and development in women’s hockey across the nation.
