Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Prothistan Dominates Int’l Women’s Day Archery Tournament

Tongi: The Cute International Women’s Day Archery tournament was held today at the archery training center in Tongi, Gazipur, in celebration of International Women’s Day. The event witnessed a strong performance by Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Prothistan (BKSP).



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain attended the event as the chief guest, distributing prizes among the winners. The tournament also saw the presence of Youth and Sports Secretary Md. Rezaul Maksud Jahedi, who was there as a special guest, along with National Sports Council Secretary Aminul Islam, who participated in the prize distribution ceremony.



BKSP emerged at the top of the medal tally, securing two gold, two silver, and two bronze medals. Bangladesh Air Force followed closely, winning one gold and one silver medal. Spider Archery Club claimed the third position with one gold, and Bangladesh Police Archery Club also achieved one gold medal.



Other notable performances included Chudanga Archery Club, which won one silver medal, and Faridpur District Sports Association, which secured one bronze medal. Bangladesh Ansar also collected a bronze medal. The day-long competition was organized for the third time by the Bangladesh Archery Federation (BAF) and was sponsored by Moushumi Industries Limited.
