Nilphamari: A month-long iftar distribution program has commenced, targeting homeless and low-income individuals in the district. This initiative aims to provide daily iftar meals throughout the Holy month of Ramadan.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the program was inaugurated by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Md Saidul Islam at the municipal market of the district town. The event was attended by notable figures including the vice president of the district BNP, Sohel Parvez, organizing secretary Mahbub Ur Rahman Mahbub, organizing secretary Shefaul Jahangir Shepu, municipal BNP organizing secretary Lutful Alam Chowdhury Shuvo, and district Chhatra Dal president Maruf Parvez, among others.
The initiative has been launched by Sami Electronics in collaboration with the district administration. Akhtaruzzaman Swapan, the owner of Sami Electronics, has stated that iftar meals will be distributed to the helpless and poor throughout the month of Ramadan, ensuring that those in need have access to meals during this significant period.
