Dhaka: Primary and Mass Education Adviser Professor Dr. Bidhan Ranjan Roy Podder has emphasized the necessity of respecting others’ opinions to prevent conflicts. “If we cannot respect the opinions of others, the conflicts among us will not stop. The main message of the teachings of Sri Ramakrishna and Swami Vivekananda is ‘As many opinions, as many paths’,” he stated.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Dr. Bidhan made these remarks while speaking as the chief guest at a religious program and discussion organized by Ramakrishna Math. The event was held on Saturday to commemorate the 190th birth anniversary of Sri Ramakrishna Dev.

The program was presided over by Swami Purnatmananda, Principal and Secretary of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission. Other notable attendees included Dr. Moyna Talukder, Professor of the Culture Department at Dhaka University, and Dr. Bijoy Lal Basu, Professor of the English Department.
