Narayanganj: Noyanagar United emerged champions in the Salma Begum Memorial Library Football Tournament by defeating Nurul Islam Smrity Pathagar 1-0 in the final match held at Narayanganj Bandar Kalyandi Pier Sattar High School ground.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Hasan scored the decisive goal in the 5th minute of the match, securing victory for his team, as stated in a press release. Additional Tax Commissioner of the National Board of Revenue (NBR), Mortuza Shariful Islam, attended the final as the chief guest and distributed prizes among the winners. The event was presided over by Salma Begum Memorial Library President, Mostafa Saiful Islam Badal.
Assistant Tax Commissioner Jahirul Islam Khan was present as a special guest. Hasan of Noyanagar United was adjudged the best player of the tournament for his performance in the final. A total of twenty teams from the district participated in this tournament.
