Bhatara: Police arrested a person with counterfeit currency of Tk 3.66 lakh from the Bhatara area in the city. The arrestee was identified as Md Al-Amin, 24.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Al-Amin was apprehended yesterday from in front of Jamuna Plaza under Bhatara police station along with the counterfeit currency. Authorities revealed that Al-Amin is a member of a gang involved in the distribution of fake notes.
