Dhaka: The Anti-Discrimination Student Movement (ADSM) has taken a significant step towards addressing climate and environmental issues by forming a dedicated cell named ‘Climate Change and Environmental Protection Affairs Cell’. This special cell aims to enhance the organization’s activities related to environmental protection.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the cell was officially approved by ADSM’s Convener Hasnat Abdullah and Member Secretary Arif Sohel. The approval was granted this evening. Shahriar Mohammad Yamin has been appointed as the secretary of this 10-member cell.
The cell includes members Qurratul Ain Kaniz, Md. Zahir Rayhan, Md. Rifat Hossain Badhan, Omar Faruq Sraban, Jimran Md. Sayek, Abu Huraira Siam, Sajjad Hossain Shaon, Arfi Azrin, and Mehedi Hasan. This initiative reflects the organization’s commitment to actively promoting climate action and environmental protection.
