Dhaka: Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today predicted dry weather with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country in the next 24 hours as of 9 am tomorrow. “Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country. Light to moderate fog may occur over the country during late night to early morning,” said a BMD bulletin this morning.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a mild cold wave is sweeping over the districts of Rajshahi, Pabna, Naogaon, Dinajpur, Moulvibazar, and Chuadanga, and it may continue, the bulletin added. Night temperature may remain nearly unchanged, and day temperature may fall slightly over the country.
The country’s maximum temperature on Friday was recorded at 31.6 degrees Celsius at Sitakunda in Chattogram Division, while today’s minimum temperature was recorded at 8.5 degrees Celsius at Srimangal in Sylhet Division. The sun sets at 5.49 pm today and rises at 6.35 am tomorrow in the capital.
