Patuakhali: Police recovered the body of an unidentified youth from Chandpura village of Alipura union under Dashmina upazila of the district today. Being informed, a team of police rushed to the spot and recovered the blood-stained body from a watermelon field of the area around 5 am, said Assistant Superintendent of Police of Galachipa and Dashmina Circle Md. Morshed Toha.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, police also recovered a machete used in the murder and an abandoned Mahindra car from the spot. Later, the body was sent to Patuakhali Sadar Hospital morgue.
