Barishal: Twenty-one dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals in the country during the past 24 hours till this morning.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, during this period, three patients were hospitalized in different hospitals under Barishal, five in Chattogram, seven in Dhaka, and six in Khulna divisions, while one was admitted in Dhaka South. This information was shared in a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The total number of dengue cases has now risen to 1,021, with nine deaths from the disease reported this year. In contrast, last year saw the total number of cases reaching 1,01,214, with 575 deaths reported due to dengue, as mentioned in the statement.
