DHAKA: The 60th board meeting of Community Bank Bangladesh PLC was held today at the Police Headquarters. The meeting was chaired by Inspector General of Police and Chairman of Community Bank, Baharul Alam, as stated in a press release from the bank.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the meeting involved discussions and decisions on various investment proposals and policy issues concerning the bank. The meeting was attended by key figures including AKM Shahidur Rahman, Director General of Rapid Action Battalion, Abu Hasan Muhammad Tarique, Additional IG and Rector of Police Staff College, Md. Tawfique Mahbub Chowdhury, Additional IG of Bangladesh Police, and several Deputy Inspectors General (DIG) of Bangladesh Police like Dr. Shoeb Reaz Alam, Md. Aminul Islam, and Quazi Zia Uddin. Additional DIGs Muntashirul Islam and Sufian Ahmed, along with Masud Khan, an Independent Director, and Mohammad Abdul Qaium Khan, Managing Director (Current Charge) of Community Bank, were also present. Saiful Alam, the Company Secretary of Community Bank, attended the meeting as well, highlighting the collaborative efforts of the bank's leadership in steering the organization's strategic direction.
