Dhaka: Tax Commissioner Barrister Mutasim Billah Faruqui has been appointed as the president and Additional Tax Commissioner Syed Mohidul Hassan as the secretary general of the BCS Taxation Association. The appointments were announced following a meeting of the association held on Monday at the Old National Board of Revenue (NBR) Bhaban in the capital.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the formation of the executive committee was confirmed through a press release issued today. The meeting was convened to organize the leadership structure of the association, which plays a pivotal role in the taxation sector.
