Sylhet: Fortune Barishal's Pakistan recruit Shaheen Shah Afridi claimed 2-20 in an economical bowling effort to restrict Durbar Rajshahi to 168-4 in their first match of BPL Sylhet phase at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium today. Shaheen's precise bowling was key in stifling Rajshahi initially after they were put into bat first.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Captain Anamul Haque was the top-scorer for Rajshahi with a 35-ball 39, sending the ball across the ropes five times before being dismissed in the penultimate over. Opener Jishan Alam, who was dismissed for a duck in the first two matches, returned to form with a 27-ball 38. His innings featured three fours and as many sixes.

Yasir Ali played a crucial role in propelling the side past the 150-run mark with a quick 23-ball 37. Earlier, in the Dhaka phase match, Rajshahi lost to Barishal despite posting a competitive total of 197 runs.
