Agartala: Students of Jahangirnagar University (JU) today protested the attack on the Assistant High Commission office of Bangladesh in India. Students of the university assembled at around 9.30 pm at the Bot Tola area and brought out a torch procession. The procession paraded different streets on the campus. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the protest was organized in response to the recent attack on the Assistant High Commission office. Addressing the rally, Touhid Siam, an organizer of 'The anti-Discrimination Student Movement,' emphasized the need to remember the spirit of Abrar Fahad, urging students to continue the struggle against what he described as Indian hegemony. He stressed that it is an obligatory duty for the students to work towards eradicating such influence.
