Bogura: Police conducted a raid that led to the arrest of a district Jubo League leader from his residence at Belgium Math of Latifpur Colony in the city this morning. "Engineer Khairul Alam alias Lakhin, an active member of the Jubo League district unit, was arrested from his own residence today," stated SM Mainuddin, officer-in-charge (OC) of Bogura Sadar Police Station. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the arrest of Khairul, who also serves as the central committee president of the Bangladesh Human Rights Association, was executed following a tip-off. The police team carried out an operation at his residence in the area, leading to his apprehension. Khairul's arrest is set to be followed by a court appearance after a review of the cases filed against him is conducted.
