AB Party Condemns Killing of Lawyer Saiful Islam in Chattogram.

Chattogram: Leaders of Amar Bangladesh (AB) Party today strongly condemned the recent brutal murder of lawyer Saiful Islam Alif in Chattogram and demanded justice for the killing. Convener Professor Dr Major (Retd) Abdul Wahab Minar and its Member Secretary Mujibur Rahman Manju issued a joint statement denouncing the murder and protesting attempts to create anarchy in various parts of the country over minor issues. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the AB Party also criticized the involvement of the Ministry of External Affairs, India, in Bangladesh's internal affairs. The party expressed disapproval over the Indian government's response to the rejection of bail for former ISKCON leader Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari, noting that India did not express concern or condemnation regarding the murder of lawyer Saiful Islam. The AB Party leaders commended the students, public, scholars, and people from all religions and political parties for their tolerance and responsibility in the wake of the Chattogra m incident. They viewed this collective restraint as a milestone in the country's national solidarity. The party also expressed deep respect for the sacrifice made by the slain lawyer Saiful Islam Alif. They urged the government to take responsibility for rehabilitating his family, highlighting the need for justice and support for those affected by the tragedy.
