Thakurgaon: The government has announced the appointment of two new Deputy Commissioners (DCs) for the Thakurgaon and Rangamati districts. This development follows a recent reshuffle by the Ministry of Public Administration. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the notification issued on Wednesday detailed the transfer of Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate of Thakurgaon, Ishrat Farzana, to Rangamati, where she will assume the role of DC and District Magistrate. Additionally, Mohammad Habib Ullah, who previously served as a deputy secretary in the Finance Division, has been appointed as the new DC of Thakurgaon. The notification stated that this reshuffle has been made in the public interest and is to take effect immediately.
