Dhaka: Customers of Trust Bank and bKash can now enjoy a seamless two-way fund transfer service, enabling instant money transfers between their accounts and others' within Trust Bank, facilitated through the bKash app. This development marks a significant step in enhancing financial convenience for users of both platforms. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the newly launched service was officially inaugurated by Ahsan Zaman Chowdhury, Managing Director of Trust Bank PLC, and Kamal Quadir, CEO of bKash, at an event held at Trust Bank's Head Office. The launch was attended by senior officials from both organizations, as noted in a press release. To utilize this innovative service, customers need to select the 'Add Money' or 'bKash to bank' icon on the bKash app's home screen and then choose the 'Bank Account' option. Following this, users must establish a link between their bKash and Trust Bank accounts by providing necessary information after selecting the 'Trust Bank PLC' icon. It is important that the registered mobile numbers for both accounts are identical to set up this link for either 'Add Money' or 'bKash to bank' transactions. Once linked, transferring money from a Trust Bank account to a bKash account becomes straightforward through the bKash app's 'Add Money' service. The service also allows customers to deposit funds, pay DPS, and settle loan installments using the 'bKash to bank' feature, eliminating the need to visit a bank branch. Customers will receive SMS notifications following every successful transaction. It should be noted that the transaction limits set by Bangladesh Bank will apply, and charges are incurred only for bKash to bank transactions.
