Dhaka: Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today predicted that weather may remain dry for the next 24 hours beginning from this morning. "Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country," said the forecast beginning from 9 am. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the well-marked low over Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining Equatorial Indian Ocean persists and is likely to intensify further. Its associated trough extends up to North Bay, indicating potential changes in weather patterns in the coming days. Additionally, light to moderate fog may occur at various places over the country during late night until early morning, which could affect visibility for travelers. The country's maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded at 31.1 degrees Celsius in Teknaf, while the minimum temperature today was recorded at 13.0 degrees Celsius in Badalgacchi. The forecast also noted that night and day temperatures may fall slightly over the country, suggesting a mild cooling trend. Residents of the capital should note that today's sunset is at 5:11 pm, while tomorrow's sunrise is expected at 6:21 am.
