Dhaka: Information and Broadcasting Adviser Md Nahid Islam emphasized the government's commitment to extending the impact of the July mass uprising to every corner of the nation. Speaking at the conclusion of the 11th GSC National Scientist Mania at Government Science College, Nahid highlighted the uprising's lessons in self-esteem and its potential to inspire a new Bangladesh. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Nahid called for vigilance against efforts to tarnish the reputation of students, warning that internal disputes could present them negatively to the public. He reiterated the government's vision of building a society free from discrimination and encouraged students to view him as a peer rather than a superior, fostering a spirit of unity akin to the mass uprising. Nahid assured that state honors and rehabilitation efforts for families of the martyrs and injured from the July uprising are priorities. He praised 'Gen Z' for their active participation in the movement, showcasing their capabilit y to challenge tyranny. Prominent figures such as Professor Dr Muhammad Shamsher Ali and Professor KM Aminul Haque were also present at the event, underlining the significance of Nahid's message to the youth and the broader community.
