Dhaka: The 886th meeting of the Executive Committee (EC) of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC was convened yesterday at the bank's corporate head office. The meeting was chaired by Akkas Uddin Mollah, who is the Chairman of the Executive Committee. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the committee members engaged in discussions about various issues concerning investments across different sectors. The meeting aimed to strategize on how the bank can optimize its investment portfolio. Key attendees included Fakir Akhtaruzzaman, the Vice-Chairman of the Committee, and Directors Md. Sanaullah Shahid, Mohiuddin Ahmed, and Mohammed Younus, who are also members of the committee. Additionally, Managing Director Mosleh Uddin Ahmed and Company Secretary Md. Abul Bashar were present to contribute to the discussions.
