Chittagong: Joint forces arrested five notorious robbers and recovered sharp weapons, drugs, and cash in a drive at Boiler Colony slum of the city's CRB's Falmondi area under Kotwali police station this morning. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, during the drive, various types of sharp weapons, drugs, mobile phone sets, and cash worth about Tk 15 lakh were recovered from the possession of the miscreants. Based on secret information, a team of joint forces raided the CRB Boiler slum and Falmondi Colony area and arrested the five miscreants at 8:45 am today. The arrestees, along with the recovered weapons, were handed over to the respective police station.
