Pirojpur: Speakers at a view-exchange meeting today underscored the need for building a discrimination-free, youth-based, developed, prosperous, and accountable Bangladesh being imbued with the student-led July-August uprising. They emphasized the significant role students played in the mass uprising, highlighting their leadership in the movement. As such, it was urged that students should strive to develop themselves into worthy citizens by acquiring knowledge.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the meeting was organized by the district information office and held at the hall room of Aftab Uddin College. The event was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Mohammad Selim Hossain, who served as the chief guest. The principal of Aftab Uddin College, Sahadev Chandra Pal, chaired the meeting.
Several other notable figures addressed the event, including District Information Officer Md. Abdullah-al-Masud, District Primary Education Officer Md. Mostafa Kamal, and Joint General Secretary of Pi
rojpur Press Club Md. Ziaul Haque. The gathering also saw the participation of officials and employees from the district information office, among others.
