Dhaka: The government today appointed retired judge of the High Court Division, Justice Md Emdadul Haque, as the director general (DG) of the Judicial Administration Training Institute (JATI). According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Law and Justice Division of the Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Ministry issued a gazette notification regarding the appointment. The notification, signed by Sheikh Abu Taher, who is currently serving as the secretary of the Law and Justice Division, confirmed that Justice Md Emdadul Haque will serve as the director general of JATI for a tenure of one year from the date of his joining. Justice Haque will receive salary, allowance, and other benefits equivalent to those of a High Court Division justice during his tenure.
