Navy Ships to Open for Public Visits on Armed Forces Day.

Dhaka: Bangladesh Navy will open its ships for public visits in several cities on November 21 to commemorate Armed Forces Day. The vessels will be accessible in Dhaka, Chattogram, Khulna, Barishal, and Chandpur, offering an opportunity for the public to engage with the naval force.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) released information regarding the event, stating that the ships will be available for public viewing from noon until sunset on that Thursday. The initiative aims to foster a connection between the naval forces and the community.

The specific locations where the ships will be open include BNS Chitra at Sadarghat in Dhaka, BNS Somudra Avijan at the Naval Berth at New Mooring in Chattogram, and BNS Shaheed Akhter Uddin at the BIWTA Launch Terminal. Additionally, BNS Kopotakkho will be accessible at Digraj Naval Berth in Mongla, and BNS Borkat will be open at the BIWTA Ghat in Barishal.
