Kushtia: A protocol has been signed between Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia and Cankiri Karatekin University (CAKU) in Cankiri, Turkey, under the framework of the Erasmus KA171 Staff Mobility programme. Two academic staff from IU will participate in the Teaching and Training Mobility Programme for the 2024-25 academic year, confirmed by a notice from IU International Affairs Division Director Professor Dr. Mohammad Wali Ullah. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the five-day programme is scheduled to take place from May 5, 2025, to May 9, 2025, on the Cankiri University campus. The selected nominees will receive funding in line with the provisions of the Erasmus project. The departments of Economics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Art and Design, and Business are invited to apply for the Staff Mobility for Teaching programme, while all departments are encouraged to apply for the Staff Mobility for Training programme. Faculty members are requested to submit their applications by December 7, 2024, to the Director of the International Affairs Division through their Department Chairman. The application should include a proposal and CV, detailing publications from the last five years, impact factor, index, role as author, research gate link, Google Scholar link, ORCID ID, total citation, and h-index according to Google Scholar, along with administrative and academic experiences. Additionally, candidates must possess international passports with a minimum validity of six months, as stated in the notice.
