Dhaka: Constitution Reform Commission (CRC) today held its second views exchange meeting with eminent citizens at the cabinet room of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban here. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the meeting included distinguished citizens such as Professor Tofayel Ahmed, Professor Mahbub Ullah, Baitul Mukarram Khatib Mufti Abdul Malek, Khushi Kabir, Subrata Chowdhury, Musa Al Hafiz, Shahin Anam, Dr. Shahidul Alam, and Mufti Sakhawat Hossain Raji. An official release stated that the purpose of the meeting was to gather diverse perspectives on constitutional reform. The meeting was presided over by CRC chairman Professor Ali Riaz. Other CRC members in attendance included Prof Sumaiya Khayer, Barrister Imran Siddique, Prof Muhammad Ekramul Haque, Dr. Sharif Bhuiyan, Barrister M Moin Alam Ferozi, and Firoz Ahmed. Earlier on November 11, the CRC conducted its first view-exchange meeting where 31 representatives from 16 different rights groups participated. The commission aims to continue engaging with various personalities and organizations in the upcoming days to facilitate a comprehensive approach to constitutional reform.
