Dhaka: On Monday evening, former lawmaker from Narsingdi, Sirajul Islam Molla, was arrested in Dhaka's Mohammadpur area. Police revealed that students detained Sirajul and subsequently informed the army, who then took him into their custody. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, once informed, the police transported him to Mohammadpur Police Station. There are two cases filed against Sirajul Islam in Narayanganj's Araihazar and Fatullah police stations. Fatullah police have been notified that the former MP will be handed over to them.
