Rajshahi: The admission tests for first-year honours classes at Rajshahi University (RU) for the 2024-2025 academic session are scheduled to take place on April 12, 19, and 26, 2025. The decision was reached during a meeting of the university’s admission sub-committee, held at the administrative building’s conference hall, chaired by Vice-Chancellor Professor Saleh Hassan Naquib.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, for the first time, RU will conduct its first-year undergraduate admission tests across five divisional cities. This decision aims to alleviate the stress and logistical challenges faced by students, their families, and other stakeholders. The Vice-Chancellor highlighted that the tests will be conducted at Dhaka University (DU), Khulna University (KU), Chattogram University (CU), Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR), and the host, Rajshahi University (RU). This arrangement allows admission-seekers the opportunity to take their exams at the nearest center, thereby reducing travel burdens.
