A driver of a CNG-run auto-rickshaw was killed in a road accident in Noimile area on the Dhaka-Bogura Highway under Shajahanpur upazila of the district today. The deceased was Moznu, 27, hailed from Sherpur upazila. Sub-Inspector (SI) of Sherpur Highway police Al Amin said the accident occurred when a passenger bus crushed Moznu in the area around 12:45 pm as he fell from his auto-rickshaw after hitting a big stone on the highway, leaving him dead on the spot.
