A total of 54 dengue patients have been
admitted to different hospitals in Chattogram city and district in last 24
hours.
The information was disclosed by the District Civil Surgeon office in the
afternoon.
Among the 54 people infected with dengue in 24 hours, 46 people have been
admitted to the Chattogram Medical College Hospital and eight people have
been admitted to various private hospitals in the city.
According to the Chattogram Civil Surgeon office, a total of 828 people were
admitted to the hospital in port city due to dengue in the month of
September.
At least 107 patients are undergoing treatment in different hospitals in the
city. A total of 10 people died in September this year.
District Civil Surgeon Dr Jahangir Alam advised city dwellers to be aware
about the spread of dengue.
