President of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology unit Chhatra League, Khalilur Rahman, was arrested from Bhaluka in Mymensingh district last night.
Assistant Police Super of RAB-9 Moshiur Rahman Sohel said acting on a tip-off a team of the force conducted a raid in Bhaluka area in Mymensingh last night and arrested Khalilur Rahman, who is accused in a case filed with Sylhet Sadar police station, according to a press release.
Besides, RAB-9 in another drive conducted in last night in Sylhet city arrested Vice-President of Sylhet district unit Secha Sebok League Golam Kibria Mashuk, 47. He was also accused in a case filed under Explosive act with Sylhet Sadar police station.
Khalilur Rahman and Golam Kibria Mashuk were handed over to the respective police stations.
