Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s (DMP) Traffic Division has filed a total of 735 cases and realized Taka 29,63,000 as fine in a single day across the capital for violating traffic rules.
The cases were filed and fines imposed on September 28, a DMP release said here today.
During the drive, a total of 132 vehicles were impounded and 71 others towed. The DMP release further said these drives will continue to bring discipline on Dhaka’s streets.
