An auto rickshaw driver was electrocuted in Melandah upazila of the district this morning. The victim was Md Mamunul Haque,27, son of Shukkur Ali at village Shahjadpur Brahmanpara in the upazila. Police said Mamunul connected battery plug of his auto rickshaw with electricity for charging at home last night. In the morning as he tried to unplug it from the socket he was electrocuted.
